Shaughnessy's Nyacca Baitfish

This pattern was designed for fishing roosterfish in Baja - but it will work just about anywhere that big fish eat their smaller fish. The key to the success of this pattern is the multi-layered feather tail, which gives the fly action even when it is dead-drift-diving in between fast retrieves. 

This fly is the brainchild of James Shaughnessy, owner of Beulah Fly Rods and Fly Fish Mex.
