The Mini is an articulated streamer with tons of flash, and a deer hair head cut at an angle to give the fly a diving or fluttering motion in the water. This pattern can achieve an erratic action similar to that of the Swimmin' Jimmy because the head is treated with a UV resin, creating a hydrophobic wedge that forces water over the body at different angles each time it is retrieved, resulting in an unpredictable, erratic action.
