Gamakatsu SS15

The Gamakatsu SS15 Standard Saltwater Hook is a versatile choice; designed with a straight eye, wide gape, and standard forged wire, it’s ideal for shrimp, baitfish, crab, and even small surface flies. The tin-plated finish ensures superior corrosion resistance, while Gamakatsu’s signature needlepoint provides unmatched sharpness and reliable penetration.

This hook also works well for freshwater patterns where you may want a little extra strength in your wire size, or a finer wire size than more saltwater hook, as well as patterns where a more perfect, round bend is what you're looking for! Give it a shot for classic patterns such as Clouser Minnows and Half-n-Halfs, or into more modern patterns like a Roamer or a Fleein' Minnow.
