The Craw Changer is an extremely versatile fly and can be fished in both fresh and saltwater. It catches everything from trout and bass to redfish and many other saltwater species. Its unique porpoising action mimics a crawfish fleeing from its predators. Another important aspect of the changer craw is the built-in vertical drop and defensive vertical stance at rest. This is a big trigger for many predatory species.
It is tied on three 10mm shanks, finesse chenille, hen feathers, zonker strips, medium carapace body/claws, sexi floss, crustacean eyes, rubber legs, flattened dumbbell eyes, and an Ahrex SA274 size #4 hook, measuring at just under 4" in length.
